This name derives from the fact that the territory is rich in archaeological evidence related to that ancient people. In particular you can admire: temples, necropolis and villages.<br \/>\nTo the <strong>historical and artistic heritage<\/strong> of the area are added hectares and hectares of pristine Mediterranean vegetation. Parallel to the coast, a few meters away from the beach, there is a thick pine forest that separates the sea from the local city centers. The <strong>pine forest<\/strong> is ideal for simple walks and excursions or as a cool shelter during the hottest hours of the day.<br \/>\nThe Etruscan Coast also has <strong>beautiful bays and blue coves<\/strong>, sandy beaches and cliffs ideal for tanning. Cecina, in particular, is one of the most popular places in the area as concerned beaches, services and entertainment. In the immediate hinterland of the Etruscan Coast there are <strong>small historic villages<\/strong>, often of medieval, Etruscan or Roman origins, surrounded by vast vineyards, olive groves and cultivated fields.<br \/>\nThis area is in fact a renowned area of <strong>wine production<\/strong>.
